The Figments Youth Dance Ensemble is a unique pre-professional modern dance company that gives young dancers between the ages of 10 and 18 the opportunity to express themselves by creating and teaching their original choreography.
With rehearsal studios located in Manchester, CT, FYDE brings dancers from across Connecticut together so they can collaborate with peers who share their passion for creative movement. Dancing with FYDE encourages both improvisational and performance skills.
Auditions are held every September and rehearsals continue through January, when the company performs its annual season concert featuring the original choreography of its members.
Figments Youth Dance Ensemble also performs at various events outside of our season as guest performers.
